I mentioned earlier in the week that I thought a SALE was in order and so…here it is.  I’ve got a few pair of earrings, a few bracelets, and a necklace on sale.   I only have one of each so grab the item while you can.   The earrings are priced extremely cheap and I don’t think I’ll ever sell them this low again, so have fun shopping.

Spring fever has hit me bad and I CANNOT WAIT till the weather warms up and the birds start to sing.  I have wonderful ideas floating around in my head and plan on working on beads to brighten up my shop for SPRING.   I also have a few new design ideas that I’m looking forward to putting together soon.  I guess all of that time either in the bed, on the couch, or on the floor playing, has taken its toll on me.  I just want my energy level to catch up with my creative streak.   For now I’ll enjoy the snow that is currently falling, drink hot chocolate tomorrow and break out the ready-to-bake cookies tomorrow.  I plan on spending a cozy day at home with the family.

Shop, shop, shop

The online Open House is in one week!

For those of you who weren’t part of this event last year, let me explain how it works.  Next Monday night at 8:00 p.m. EST, I will put up an Open House link on my website.  All of the items in the Open House portion of the website are ready to be shipped to the FIRST person who purchases the item. Only one of each item will be available IN the Open House portion of the website. 
Once an item is purchased, it will show as sold out and that item will no longer be available.  Your purchase will arrive gift-wrapped and ready for you to put under a tree or in a stocking.  I will leave the Open House link up till Friday evening but then I will remove the link till…next year.  Oh what fun!  If you have any questions, contact me and I’ll be happy to answer you.

Little Gem Earrings

This weekend will be full of visiting with family and friends and lots of time in my studio.  I love doing custom orders and have a few to work on that will a challenge for sure.  I’m excited to start on them and will jump into it as soon as my husband comes home.  He is watching the girls for the evening while I make beads, beads, beads.  What a great way to start the weekend!  Enjoy your weekend also.

Some days I do, some days I don’t

Some days I can tackle the world and get all most of it done, and then…some days, I can’t.  Today was a long day for some reason.  I was out of it from the moment my feet touched the floor and I’m glad to be going to bed soon.   We had fun and went to a park so the girls could ride their bikes, throw rocks in a river, play on a playground, swing, and go down fast slides.   The highlight for me was watching the hummingbirds come to our new feeder at our front window.  They are so tiny and precious.  I did get a few items onto the website so that is an accomplishment, right?  Right. 

 

Silly Fun

Today was a day to be silly and have a fun lunch and not worry whether or not it was healthy.  You know those days are fun every now and then.  I made silly sandwiches that looked like the girls.  NOT REALLY.  LOL  They thought it was fun and of course, Ashley ate the eyes (M&Ms) right away.  Mia saved hers and ate them a hour later.  She is a VERY slow eater.  VERY S….L….O….W eater. 

My allergies kicked up today and I sneezed all day long and blew my nose like crazy and generally felt like I was in a fog.  I’m going to take allergy medicine on a regular basis starting TODAY and see if that helps.  I’m miserable.  UGH!  You didn’t ask, but I told you anyway.  : )

I will leave you with a pair of earrings that are a great punch of color to add to your lampwork collection.  Go ahead and visit them.  Go on.   They are on sale also!

Dipsy-Doodle Earrings

No, I don’t have pictures up yet from North Carolina but I will, eventually.  : )  I know you just can’t wait to see them!!  I know.    I don’t have that many so don’t go getting all excited about it. 

Headed out early tomorrow (7:00 a.m.) to go  pick blueberries with family.  This should be interesting!  You know I’ll tell you all about it whether you want to know or not. 

PoM-PomS for Fun

I forgot to show the pom-poms that we put in Mia’s room.  They turned out well and I ended up doing most of the work.  Surprise !  But it was fun and she likes them in the corner of her room.  We did one BIG one and two little ones.  It is all fancy now!   Ashley has one little white one in her room and she points to it all the time so I would say she is thrilled with hers too!

I’m headed off to work on beads and I plan on doing an earring sale in the next few weeks so stay tuned for that.  The “Earring Extravaganza” is coming!

A mouse? Where?

Now this is a pair of mouse earrings that you don't have to set a trap for, do you? They don't leave little droppings that let you know you have an unwanted visitor in the house. Silly, I know but I thought I'd show you a pair of earrings that I did for a customer who loves all things Disney. Enjoy Monica! Let me know if you want a pair for yourself or someone else.
